​E-Day at the Mall

Every February, the YMF sponsors Engineering Day at the Mall during National Engineer’s Week.  This event features a variety of booths designed to spark students’ interest in engineering and science.

Each year, YMF works with UCSD SCSE and SDSU ASCE student chapters to host a resume and interview workshop.  Students interact with professionals from industry and receive valuable feedback for upcoming  job fairs.

​Career Shadow

YMF aims to create a database of young engineers willing to share their experiences with high school and college students.  This mentorship program will help encourage prospective students to pursue a career in Civil Engineering.

​Scholarships

Every year YMF distributes three scholarships to local college students pursuing a degree in Civil Engineering or a related field at a four-year university in the San Diego region.  Undergraduates and first year graduate students are eligible to apply.
